Revenge
I sit on the stone cold bench,
Staring blankly at my spiteful cousin, Kyra.
I decide that I am sick of her sassiness,
I stand up and slap myself straight across the face,
run to my grandma,
shedding tears that were caused by the sting of the slap.
7 years old and unaware of revenge,
I thought I had redeemed myself
But, the next day at grandma’s
I confidently marched outside and took my place on the monkey bar.
Kyra is the next one to set foot outside,
10 seconds from then,
I felt my body hit the ground, and my face slide through the grass.
