I Come From
I am from a teddy bear, from Lysol and Febreze
I am from the yellow house on the corner
I am from the daisies, and the blooming trees
I am from eating chicken every friday night and same color eyes as my dad's, from Rosemary and Roel
I am from the strict and protective family
From being told the story of the boogeyman and the Tooth Fairy
I am from Christianity with family as I thank God for my well being and food
I am from Hurley Medical Hospital, tacos and enchiladas
From the time my mom graduated, the time my aunt graduated, and the time I was born
I am from a warm loving family, who spends every holiday together, who shares laughter together, a family that would do anything to be by each other sides, a family who cares for each other
