I felt a wasp in my palm-

the weight of a disfigured thimble

prodding along my heart line.

 

My skin shrugged-

stretching open

to invite him to feed

off the pollens of my hand.

 

I hold plenty

and I know of many-

 

I'm tired of letting 'em be.
