I Miss You Donny
Donny I miss you, although I've
Only known you for about a year, my days have
Never been filled with so much laughter!
Not only that but, you were quite skilled at shadowing what really troubled you
You've done a lot of poposterous thing with the most radiant smiles.
I miss you, not gonna lie, I cried over you for good 3 hours
Maybe more, I don't know I had to many salty tears in my eyes to remember...
I would like to think you had a good life even though it was cut
Short, you had a little pitbull, did ridiculous amounts of entities 24/7, you were
Surrounded by lots of good people, I mean like, what's not to love, right?
You put up a good fight, and I respect that, so watch
Over us will you? Guide us, protect us. I'll be the first to tell you that you're
Unique, that's for sure, and it's because of it, that we all love you.
~In loving memory of Donny~

The poem is about one of my best friends who passed in his sleep the night of July 5, 2016. I remember his little comments of correcting people grammar grammarily and how it used to annoy everyone. He was a good kid, and yet I still can't get past the fact that he was only just a kid. In the poem however, there is a hidden message if you read the first letter of each line, hence the title of the poem. I'll never forget Donny, he left too much a mark on a certain someone's broken window...I love him and I respect him. Always.
