Although the words I said tore her apart,
It didn't touch the depths of this man’s heart.
She wanted me to see the pain I caused,
Instead, I asked if she wanted to drink,
So she wouldn't think.
Afterword’s, she looked ashamed.
I felt like I should say sorry and take the blame.
But yet I didn't, she was my prey.
And I’d forgotten her by the next day.
