"Without struggle, there is no progress"

(Edgar Allan Poe inspiration)
Imagine a world where everything you see was either an illusion,
or real life to the extremist view.
Imagine everything you ever invested in,
become only an illusion as well,
becoming a destruction factor to the world under your fingertips.
Every little fairy tale you loved as a kid,
Becoming a nightmare you’ll never wake up from.
This is the way the world works.
A never-ending binding of nightmares,
A haunting you can’t run from no matter where you move.
Everything a turn of events because of one sin,
Each one of us sinning
A gate-way ticket to the fiery doors.
It’s not easy for a person,
An innocent person becoming our greatest fear,
Which has turned their own world
Into their own version of accidental corruption.
Or this could only be a dream.
One’s own nightmares, are never determined as reality or imagination.
Ghosts, villains, vixens, rivals, and criminals.
A fantasy world they’ll never be able to remember,
All because the world of sin was their choice.
Their choice of “always”, becomes “never”.
They’ll never have that choice to be who they want,
The dream career they developed as a small child.
Able or not, with sins committed,
Is up to the entity below
Whether they are to be captured
Or free to run.
From the gates of hell the evil will arise,
And convicted saints will be forgiven.
But all of this, my friend, is all just another illusion.
