Hate to Love
I hate to love the one that is,
The one who stole away,
Leaving me in spiteful bliss,
As he meandered on his way.
He came and went,
For long yet short amount of time,
The one who listened to me vent,
Left me at the chime.
I hate to love the one that is,
The one who stole away,
My heart that burned; now only a hiss,
Fissled out by the waters of the bay.
The shore with the storms,
Of love we do walk,
Never in any sort of uniform,
As we fly without the flock.
I hate to love the one that is,
The one who stole away,
My thoughts as I reminisce,
Of the love I love this day.
He makes me laugh and cry,
He makes me smile and frown,
But never did he leave me by -
Myself for me to drown.
I hate to love the one that is,
The one who stole away,
Yet from my dreams is never amiss,
Still, I love him either way.
