Eyes are the windows to the soul
they reveal the spirit’s secrets
Eyes decipher the rest of the world
piece by piece, bits by bits
they belong to everybody, both adults and kids
Eyes weave together hues and shades
verdant greens, and vibrant reds
Eyes collect memories that would never fade
they would be stored forever inside our heads
each one composed of colorful threads
Eyes are the openings to the people around you
Eyes are the windows that you never knew
