Goodbye
My, how I've gone insane, I cant you out of my brain.
All those nights you held me tight and made me believe this all was right.
I would rhyme the rest of this poem but you and I were never in sync.
I'm trying, my god I am trying.
I am trying to make you feel this, i am trying to make you miss me.
You are the moon, shining so bright yet so untouchable.
This is hard, these silent nights without you are deafening.
We were fire and ice, my heart was burning for you while you remained cold.
When you leave, will I ever see you again?
Oh what a shame, we could have been something beautiful.
Hate is a strong word, but I hate high school, I hate college, and i hate the distance between both.
