Counting The Broken Ones

Once.

Just a thought
an action
every single one

Composed this mind.
It held a cruel arrangements of thoughts,
Obviously it held you.

And where did it drift off to…
when you called me a life destroyer
when your life was a wispy mess?

Answer me: Twice

I can't speak of it again
I can't even speak at all
the corrupt mind of yours grasped me...

Three times, and I was full of its thoughts.

I’m over it,
I’m over you,
the surreal sensation of your soul by mine.

My thoughts become so astray,
I feel numb inside my body...
How?

Three times, and I'm still trying,
and searching for your soul,
fitting the shallow pieces together.

Wringing my hands over and over,
facing your scrutinizing voice,
overcome by your deathly stare.

Four

And those minds…
that sink further and further
reaching the end,

I am shocked that one of them is you
yet really more relieved
for my eyes have dried.

My soul dulled,
your wretched presence still lurks
afloat the mist in the moor.

Yet when I thought that was the end
whispers trailed from your mouth
help me you said,

5, and I finally turned away.

I will not be scarred,
though terror is inevitable,
as dead words of your frothy breath muffle all sound.

Let those whispers trail,
unleash your sickening tongue,
fall into the deadly chamber of your mind.

I am done counting.
