The Half, Whole, and Inbetween
Halves equal wholes but wholes equal novels, shifting the world because eyes only water.
Spinning green leaves in a waterfall but you don’t even step on a crack, thinking of the dressing that’ll go onto your salad.
Mixing the green and the yellow minds in a box when lives could be at risk, the opening of a paradox.
Spinning effortlessly because you want to when in reality, you already were since you were born.
Sick because of elevator serenades, thinking of only what death brings while the taxicab picks up more coats.
Spinning because only the finest of brains spin when the ground splits into two, calling us home.
