Tears Must Fall So The Sun Can Shine
There is a naked field behind them
  Barren and thirsty
The child is crying, his tears watering the cracked, dry ground
His glazed eyes stare into the camera’s void
Two tears tear through the thick skin that he has
The tears drop and hit the dry ground with a soft splat
Begging for others to hear his sadness
As his eyebrows crinkle in anger like a pissed off mother
We can only stare into his black orbs that send daggers into the cameras lens
The field behind him, like a barren wasteland, bears no hope.
As the hunger pains hit him
So does the realization that he is dying
As the clear and salty liquid rolls down the hill that is his cheek
He looks in desperation at the camera
The camera clicks, flashes and saves
That moment in his eyes that screams for help
Maybe his tears will grow new life
Maybe his tears will reach your heart
Maybe, just maybe, his tears will stop falling
  There is a saying
Into each life, some rain must fall but too much is falling in mine
Into each heart some tears must fall but someday the sun will shine
