And the coffee I sip on bad days
The tired eyes when I haven't slept
Bags under my eyes from crying

I am the sobbing in the corner
The shaking and snorting from laughter
In the middle of the class
The emotions that overwhelm me

I am the love I give to others
Staying up all night to comfort
My friends that are in dire need
The compliments friend say about me

I am the books I read
And the poems I write
From the art I create in drawings
To the doodles in the corner of notebooks

I am the finding perfection in everyone
The complimenting anyone who needs
The bad decisions I've made
And the paths I've taken

I am the new kid who loves life
The one who goes barefoot everywhere
Loving the forest with all my heart
Scaling hills to save a pumpkin

I am the food I eat, what I hate or like
The clothes I wear
How much I like my body
The self hate I can spew against myself

I am the child in an adult's body
The ocean of tears I've cried
The years I've lived on this earth
The wisdom I've accumulated from it

I am the innocence in my smile
The sad or happy glow of my eyes
My cheeks that flush when shy or proud
My angry cries for help

I am the pains and aches I get
The love I have for my pets
Finding little flowers so cute
The beauty I always see in life

I am everything that makes me
I am everything I do, what they think of me
I am a girl, young, beautiful, free
