We Are Wild

Hair,
tangled in the wind.
Cheeks,
painted with black
and stained red from the dust being kicked up by my
feet.
We pound furiously on the ground,
dancing
in time with the music
and the buzzing of the flies.
We are the voice of the jungle.
We are the thunder that rolls across the hills.
We are the drone of the bugs in the night.
We are
Wild.
