With every note is a thought
With every rhythm there's a beat
With every strum of your string
I find the air to breathe
You play your lullaby
Giving me life with every sound
You are a piece,
A missing link
I couldn't grasp
Now that I hear your song,
The rhythm of your soul
I never want to let out go
So with every second
I try to soak up your soul

Thank you so much! :) That means a lot
I went on a vacation where I was able to see my oldest half brother. When I hugged him all I could think was that I didn't want to leave or let him go. Later on my aunt, who saw us hug good-bye, said that it looked like I was trying to soak up his soul. Seeing him meant a lot to me. He's into music and playing guitar and even has a group/band. One of their songs (my favorite so far) is called Perpetual, hence my choice of a title.
