Firefly's Night
Catch me in a lullaby
Before you say goodnight
Throw me up and let me fly
I'll fly across the night
Some watch a shooting star graze by
And wish upon its light
But me, I walk and run and fly
And race it through the night
The moon will shine across the land
Glowing soft and bright
Reaching down, I'll take your hand
We'll fly across the night
Across a land of stars and trees
We'll learn the bird's-eye view
And float across the airborne breeze
To see the world anew

This is a poem I wrote for fun for my little sister. It's one that I read before bed sometimes and never tire of. Hope you like it!
