To be or not to be? That is the question.

Gazing across the river
I see a twinkling light
The memories of that night
Begin to appear in my mind

Taking pieces of that time
Bringing a smile on my face
The night I met you

The way you  desperately
Reached out for me
The way I took you in
How you made my heart

Begin to unthaw.
From it's icy prison.
Of hate and coldness.
The voices in my head

Telling me I'm not worth it
That I'm not perfect enough
That I won't make it
Through life

Lead the way,
Tell me a secret
Whisper in my ear like you used to
Bittersweet memories

All of just you
Voice so heavenly
It's so melodic
Embrace me

Arms wrapped around me
Like the wings of an angel
Ever so gently
Holding me
As if I'm afraid to break

What is reality?
Who is it I'm going to face?
Is the future really that scary?
