The Black Curtain
“Salve” to those who walk with winter
Midnight sworn by the moon’s echoing strife
The swallow’s cry blooms into an ebony plea of dry waters forgotten by the rain
The crimson ice frozen with despair
The earth below from above smites the fear of death
The rain of the cloud dries the tears of the fool
The darkness in man that compels man to fear the wise and the wisdom they hold
Those who sleep in the womb of mother death, who sings of the evening mist
In the blackest night where cries mold with the landscape of past hatred
Acceptance of denial
The insanity of those around you infests you
Your broken soul stabbing the silk coat of the hated being
Darkness is that of fools
Darkness is the acceptance of the true shade of this world
Hate
An empty shade of blue with words I do not know
A buzzing whiz, inescapable
You're being pulled down like a shadow during the sunrise
The fires of your desire shine with the allure of envy
It is death
