When
   the moon
         chases
             the sun
                    away,

                                    and I sit in my place
                               to let stories flow
                         from fingers to words,

                               my mind is calmed,
                                 finally releasing

a clang of swordfights
             upon a raging battlefield,
a romance
                slowly blooming between unexpecting victims of Eros,
a mystery
                    that changes the fate of a world of my colorful imaginings

                                     that I am
                                       cursed
                                  never to see.
