The blank page taunts me with a lack of words and phrases

my mind navigating my thoughts, kind of like mice in mazes

I lack some inspiration, I think with all my might

I can't do anything good without infringing copyright

I look around the room I'm in and with a sideways glance

I see a pretty stained glass frame of a couple in a dance

My mind explodes with words and the blank page begins to fill

I don't think anymore, my hands do as they will

I turn the page and just keep writing

my hand tires but I keep writing

Finally I'm done and leaning back I look around

my eyes wander to the floor... and there lies the broken couple on the ground.

Ooh, shocking! I love the concept of this piece, and I love the completely out of the blue ending. The rhyme is actually very fun, particularly regarding "infringing copyright." ;) Wow, this one I'm going to keep pondering for a while....
