Is it possible
to be so desperately lonely
and depressed
yet feel yourself
when you hold a book?
Is it possible
to have no friends
and no one to tell anything to when you’re upset
yet feel loved
when a stranger smiles at you?
I feel alone
all of the time
I feel so lost
but every time
someone gives me a moment of their time
I’m okay.
