Out of the depths I crawl
Into the blistering sunlight,
Reborn into purity.
The remnants of a faraway world
Slip through my veins,
Boil in my blood
Into the cracks of my bones
Furiously wandering through the labyrinths of my mind.
Too strong to fight back
Too bold to conceal,
A fiery blackness restricted for too long.
A seed deep inside,
Fertilized by fears of the unknown
Sprouts tall and proud and terrible,
Barely escaping as poison on my lips.
