Favorite Quote:
The woods are lovely, dark and deep. But I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep.

-Robert Frost

She walked down ever fragile streets,

Wondering when her fight would end,

Not knowing another world would arise.

Now new life emerges like tattered edges of a charcoal pit,

One that would no longer be someone else's truth,

Giving her everlasting hope.

She did what she could

Imagined what she could,

Held onto strength.

In the face of horror,

She got out.

With hardened exterior,

She walks down a cobblestone street,

Unafraid of what lies ahead.

That other, happy world,

Is now her world.

Finally, free of strangling chains,

She never looks back again.
