The Day The Sky Wept For Me
The day the sky wept for me, it was,
Bleak and clammy, the air hung moist and humid,
Gray clouds encompassed the once vibrant blue veil of innocence.
Impetuous winds blew angrily, spewing their foul breathe with enough vehement rage to topple a house.
The day the sky wept for me, it was,
Dreary and drained, once crowded streets turned vacant,
The suffocating heat and bitter chill, wracking unpleasant shivers up my spine,
Lifeless and Decayed, the skyline a never-ending veil of monochrome, a thin sheen of despair looming intimidatingly against the dull skies.
The Day the sky wept for me,
The flood gates were opened, leaving a tidal wave of emotions to engulf all in their path.
Hot tears left blistering streams down flushed cheeks, I couldn’t tell whether they were mine or not.
Thunder crackled, a sound full of woe, and voices cracked viciously, a serenade of melancholic dejection.
The day the sky wept for me, was the day I wept for it.
The day two voices howled their despair to the heavens.
The day the world drowned in a sea of tears.

As long as the sky can weep for you, you're never truly alone.
