Ten days until I go away like all the others.
Nine.
Nine of my friends were adopted just last week.
Eight.
Eight days left of adopt a pet month.
Seven.
Seven more days in this horrible shelter.
Six.
Six is how old I am.
Five.
Five days left of hope.
Four.
Four days of torture.
Three.
Three dogs left.
Two.
Two left.
One.
Done.
None.
None of my days will be spent there anymore thanks to you, you took me home.
Years.
Years will be spent trying to repay you, you saved me.
