Writing is a struggle against silence
a fight against secrecy
an echo in an alley
a scream in the night
withering of a soul
words crushed by opinions
interpretations lost by the ignorant
followed by lurking emotion
yet tainted by other’s shine
dimmed by the intensity of  emptiness
but strengthened by the art of intelligence
poured onto paper
lying there
wishing,
wanting,
needing
To be heard.
