She kept it hidden; her Demon.

But they could never see it, for it was deep inside her; a secret.

It ate her; her bones, her body, her mind, her child-like sould;

It was all dead.

She tried to be rid of it.

"Go away! Get out! Leave me alone!"

She would scream until her throat grew sore.

But it demanded existence.

It needed her to survive.

She would run, for miles and miles; trying to run away from it.

But it never went away.

She stared blankly into a mirror, trying to see the Demon.

But she couldn't, so the mirror was smashed to shards.

Out of anger, frustration, out of realization;

That she was her own,

Demon.
