Broken Promises

You left.
You left me broken and hurt.
You said you wouldn't forget.
But you did, you pomised you wouldn't.
I called you once, you didn't pick up.
I waited then tried again, still no answer.
I called again and again until I realized, you forgot.
You promised, but I guess promises were meant to be broken.
I eventually started forget too.
I forgot that I was hurt and broken.
I forgot our promise.
I forgot you.
I grew up and I forgot.
And I'm happy.
