This year everything is different
This year I miss who I once was
This year I have more scars
This year color has drained from my world
This year people keep dying
This year my hope dies
This year war begins again
This year we have to fight just to live
This year I apologize more than I move
This year I'm abandoned
This year they laugh
And I hear but I don't care
But this year I make a wish;
That we could all go back to last year.
