They Don't Know
They know about your smile
And the way your eyes twinkle.
They know about your freckles
And have drawn them dot-by-dot.
But they’ll never know you like I do.
They won’t know about your mother
Or the slightly scar on your chest.
They can’t tell what’s in you heart
Or the way you digress.
They don’t know the time you called me up at night.
They don’t know about your nightmares.
They don’t know about they way you heart flutters when someone touches your cheek.
They haven’t seen you in deep sleep.
Did you know you look like an angel?
I knew.
