Lying on the shore
The perfect size and shape
Tempting passing souls
To pick It up
Only when It’s thrown
Can It’s talents be tested
At first It soars
And then It plummets
When It hits water
It soars again
Repeating the quest
Until its over
And then slowly It sinks
Happy with the outcome
Of It’s splendid journey
