Do you remember Saturday like it was yesterday?,
When you called me in tears asking for an escape,
Do you remember when I drove to your house at night?,
Your parents still don't know I was there to hold you,
Do you remember the lines I promised you that night?,
With every smile I knew I unlocked the very thing that was broken,
Do you remember when I fixed your heart with a devotion?,
Because I knew you were never meant to cry with a face to pretty,
And life so beautiful the deserves better than being in the depths,

Do you remember that bus ride home when we laid in our seats sleeping?,
With my mind wide open I had finally found clarity with all that happened,
Do you remember the warmth I provided for you since it was cold as hell?,
You gave me the best year of my life with everything I ever wanted,
Do you remember how it all came down to this with every breath?,
As I lend out my head and gave you my word of trust and passion,
Do you remember the person I used to be before you came around?,
Don't worry about it since he wont be ever coming back,
Because the left some nasty scars that left me hollow,
But you came just in time to save me from damnation,

Do you remember the day I got down on one knee and asked for your hand?,
The tears of joy and happiness flowed as you said "Yes! Forever and always!"
Do you remember the look on your parent's face when they heard the news?,
I thought they would turn as white as ghosts but they welcomed me with open arms,
Do you remember when we stood there in silence at the alter with a smile on your face?,
"Kiss the bride" and our future began in an instance with a baby on the way,
Do you remember the times you dropped the F bomb in the delivery room?,
But it was worth is to finally see our lovely daughter for the first time,
Because the beauty in life comes in small packages and grow into something more,
With every breath you take, with every action made, you make history,

Do you remember the day you came home from the doctors in tears?,
I knew something was wrong as you looked into my eyes and told me the bad news,
Do you remember the months I've spent at your bed side wishing you got better?,
With a love and devotion pouring out of my being with each passing day,
Do you remember the final words your ever spoke to me on that eventful day?,
You said, "Thank you for the life you gave me and the will to continue to press on",
Do you remember the last time I told you I love you as you're lowered down?,
Tears flowed from the faces of many as our little girl asked "Where is Mommy going?",
So I told her, "Sweety, Mommy is sleeping and she needs her rest because she was sick",
She understood and told me "I wish that someday she can wake up because I love her."
I looked down to her, looked at her straight into the eyes and told her "So do I",
She hugged me tight as I began to cry once again until she said "Be strong for us, Daddy,"
"I love you and I never want to lose you because you and Mommy gave me the world to have."

This is a piece I written a few days ago and I was quite nervous about it since its an emotional roller coaster from start to finish (as I'm told) and its the first thing like this that I have written in a long while, so let know what you all think and Live In Love!!!
