I use to see the animals
hiding in the clouds
but I have grown,
eyes unfocused

I used to hear a melody
flying with the wind
but I have grown,
ears are plugged

I used to speak
to all the little things
but I have grown,
tongue tied

I used to be full of life
bursting with laughter
but I have grown,
I'm used up.
