The setting sun falling fast
The falling light so did cast
A shadow on his twitching ear
A mouse was creeping round the pear
His tail swung softly in the light
His muscles tensed ready to take flight
Eyes fixed on only his prey
limbs launched into the fray
With one quick swipe the mouse was dead
The night was silent and the cat was fed
