Lord of the shadows

Darken beaten paths,
Always occupied by monsters;
Always a dark place to lurk.
A place of dark curses.
Some people know me as a shadow;
Some, as a flitting nightmare.
But I am also known by another name
The lord of the shadows.
I am a curse that has no respite. Like a cat that plays with its prey
I pounce upon your soul,
Harassing; viciously tearing out your soul.
I am the Dark Lord of the Shadows.
