Bullying

I’m there, I know I’m there, you know im there
Just take a look everywhere
I’m valuable, nothing less

Looking past my horizon
But when we get face to face
Thats when I will seize the day but
I’m valuable, nothing less

You think you are hurting me
You want to hear I’m sorry
But thats not it I’m here to tell you
Thank you but I’m not through
I’m stronger than ever before
Breaking down my every core but
I’m valuable, nothing less

Loving and waiting
Waiting for you to see
I am a person
You will not break me
I have strength and power to succeed
I just want to say thank you but
I’m valuable, nothing less

There is something you dont see
Just waiting deep inside of me
I just need to let it show
Show and speak just for me
I’m valuable, nothing less

They say things take time
This has taken too much time
Don’t you see
You think you are the ruler of ones self esteem but
I’m valuable, nothing less

I am something
You never know
Maybe one day I will stand up and let it show
Just wait until that day
This will be no more
You cannot run me
I’m valuable, nothing less

I used to be bullied all through elementary school and in 6th and 7th grade. This poem means a lot to me.
