Fear is settling for what is expected, while courage is having the strength to step out of the box.

Orange and yellow
Pink and Red
The sun begins to set
As I retire to my bed

My head hits the pillow
My thoughts disappear
And my depression
Seems to subside

Yes I am hurt
Yes I want to cry
But right now I’m at peace
With the sun in the sky

I close my eyes
And wish real apart
That when I open them again
The sun will not have died

From my window I see it all
I see the sun as it falls
I see the trees in the wind
And the birds take flight
Heading for their nest
Where they’ll spend the night

I’ve been to a place
A place to relax
A place full of beauty
I want to go back

But I know that can’t happen
So I’ll just sit tight
And stare
At the moon in the night

I’ll rest my head on my pillow
Close my eyes real tight
And wait and seem
The beauty in the mornings light

And if that doesn’t come
Something else will
Something will bring hope
And maybe a chill

I think about the special place
The place in my mind
I’ll think about that place
And I will smile.

I remember the happiness it brought
The battle that I fought
The happiness that I’ve lost
And the war I have won

I won’t forget that place
It’s where my heart lies
And it’s where I tend to keep
My greatest desires

You probably think
This place exist
But it doesn’t
Or does it
……………………………..
I…………..
Don’t…………………………..
