Words can be used to degrade
They can tear someone apart
Take away their dreams
Make one feel worthless
As if they have no purpose
Like they have no reason to live
But words can also inspire
Bring someone is spirit up
Burning like a fire
Make one want to attain their dreams
Leave them feeling supreme
So choose your words wisely
Think of words you have used
Were they used to abuse
It is time to put those words to rest
And come together
Speaking words of love and kindness
To make this generation the best
