My favorite time of the year

Summer
Summer is fun.
Going to the beach;
Throwing your hair up in a bun,
Hoping to not get a leach.
Hanging out with friends is what summer is,
Spending too much time in the sun gets you burnt;
Cooling off with a pop hoping it doesn't fizz,
The plans you have all week is going to church.
Beachy hair is always pretty,
And the sunsets are beautiful;
A long day ends with coming home to you kitty,
Girls hoping not to rip a cuticle.
We have fun all summer,
School is now here;
But when the fun all ends,
We're now back to school for the year.
