New Girl

I found a new girl
In school today
I’ve seen her before,
But never knew her name
Her eyes are so bright
Like stars in the sky
When she looks at me
I can’t help but look back
But her laugh is something new
Makes me smile when it starts
It’s kind of obvious, she has my heart
When I see her across the way
I can’t help but stare
Then she turns, her eyes meet mine
And, wow, that feeling I get inside
Her smile, her eyes, can’t get her out of my mind
I found a new girl
In school today
I’ve seen her before
And now she knows my name
