sun shines still
on the dead winter ridden grass
gathered around the hole
of unforgotten freedom -
names & faces blur
in the unforgivable stare
of nights only taker -
forgivness dwindling on a string
of unbarabley thin standards -
I grab for the hand of
my precious protector
only to find the cold wind
welcoming my arrival
I am no longer one with myself.
