Solitude
Years pass by but you never come
I keep waiting for you,
Searching for the reason you left me
Still finding none.
It seems it was just yesterday,
When we were young.
Making promises of living together
Through thick and thin.
But you have left me
All alone, to suffer through the pain
Now, I’m old, isolated from the joy of this world
Life seems to leave me.
All that is left is a soulless body
Lingering through the deserted daylight,
Waiting for that darkness to engulf me
And putting an end to this aimless existence.
