you left fingerprints on my heart
and bruises ‘til i bled
you tore my mind apart
and massacred my head
you begged for a new start
i gave you one last chance
because i was never smart
so we do the same old dance
and fight the same old war
because you break me down
and beat me up
until i can fight no more
