Spinning
In that moment
In the free fall,
When the wind whips your hair
And you close your eyes,
All the weight on your shoulders
Seems to disappear,
And suddenly your five years old again,
And you hear your mom
Telling you to be careful
To hold on,
You clutch on to the bar
Not realizing she said the magic words,
Hold on to the important things,
Be careful don't fall too fast,
And maybe, just maybe,
You wont get hurt,
Spinning and spinning
In that small circle,
Without a care in the world
And when it slows down,
Reality sets in,
Your not five anymore
You do have cares
And weight on your shoulders
And responsibility's
But in that moment, in the free fall
It sure as hell was fun to be five again.
