This can’t be me
Trapped in a valley low
I can’t breathe
An escape is what I need
Looking around but no where to go
This can’t be me
Wishing for something new to be
A new way to be shown
I can’t breathe
Looking up, trying to see
Where am I? I don’t know
This can’t be me
No one can hear my plea
I’ll keep trying, though
I can’t breathe
Letting go is the key
Reaching up to no longer be alone
This isn’t me
