Do you remember
The night we planned our deaths
On the edge of that tin roof?
Do you remember
The night we washed off the
Makeup, and let our bruises show?
Do you remember
The night we smoked away
Our hope, that one day we would be Free?
Do you remember
The night we cried out of
Matching fresh and tender black Eyes?
Do you remember
The night we locked our fingers together
And dove into the chalk covered Sidewalk?
Do you remember
The night he buried us
Under the wooden swings?
I only ask because you're still Smiling
And the bugs are eating you.
