What if I can't promise you white picket fences, love?
Or starry nights and blue moons
Would be enough for me to simply say "I love you?"
I love you under crumbling bridges
When your far away and the universe divides us
I love you in war stricken lands
When bullets are behind you
I love you when tomorrow seems impossible
When your brought unwillingly to your knees
I will love you when hope seems hopeless
But I can't promise you white picket fences
Or starry nights and blue moons...
