“When you photograph people in color, you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph people in Black and white, you photograph their souls.”
― Ted Grant

Earth was made in order to
Appeal to all us human beings
Influence our brain and its thoughts
Submerge our souls into naturist freedom
Please the eyes with everlasting scenery
Satisfy touch with various gorgeous textures
Tingle taste buds with delectable fruits
Rotate with pulsating of unified hearts

We give thanks to Mother Nature
In the most devastating ways possible
Demolishing populations of diminishing spectacular species
Polluting once natural sources of water
Shaving away condensed fields and forests
Flooding land with hideous apartment complexes
Using every space as a landfill
Killing something once bursting with life

We Homo sapiens are selfish creatures
Withering at our own weak seams
Due to lack of compassion towards
Something that should have been appreciated from the beginning

I strongly think people need to take a minute and realize how lucky we are to inhabit such a whimsical place, which holds life around every corner. This piece was inspired by my own backyard and all the beauty it holds.
