trembling pupils
Trickle image into the backside of your brain,
the ashes of a once flaming moment
Penetrate the recesses of your mind

Infiltrating, infiltrating.

they
Soar, trapped within
Hollering, their every muscle a choir,

“No exit, no exit,
Your mind, a steel trap.
No exit, no exit”.

your skin
Encases your sandpaper bones
Clawing to escape the chamber of self.

each action, motion, instant Involuntarily
Tattooed onto the back of your skull

Infiltrating, infiltrating.

indentations of regret
Dug by your nails, fueled by adrenaline, are
Filled with Liquid potential
Swollen with the anticipation for

Action.

Drowned in hollow thought
hollow time

in waiting for buses in the cold
in the derivative of x^3
in the replication of DNA
Twisting, twisting
as it self dilutes

with gelatinous, thick nothingness
and becomes clear
see through to the bone
as if it wasn’t there
and never had been
