I have apples in my orchard
Their leaves are made of gold
The apples smell like candy
and the apple trees are old
I pick them every autumn
as the blazing sun sets low
I shine them on my t-shirt
to make the apple skins glow
The yellow ones are sweetest
but the reds make tasty pies
My favorite apple, though is
you- the apple of my eye.
